Lost Things
I am drawn to objects whose histories are only partly known: a piece of jewellery, a vessel, a key. What do we know about the people who owned them? And what do we add ourselves when their names have been forgotten?
For my family history project, I read old documents and compare names and spellings. In the visual studies, I return to individual objects and places. The research remains open, and the series is still in progress.
